AOAAppalachia Outdoor Adventures strives to support, develop and participate in physically demanding outdoor activities, such as mountain biking, hiking, climbing/rappelling, cross country skiing, orienteering, paddling and trail running.

Although our levels of skill and intensity of participation range from high to low, we all work hard and play harder ever mindful that in most cases pain is only temporary.

Dillon Rocks at Dillon State Park – Sunday, August 24, 2014
OMBC Race Series #8 (full details link)
Dillon Rocks! You want technical tough, knee busting rock gardens? Come to Dillon Fest. The race starts with a paved prolog before diving into the pure singletrack for the entire race loop. Climbing? Not a ton on this course but it does have a short steep sled hill climb, a hike a bike and a few other sections to keep you honest. Novice course avoids the two most difficult rock gardens. Everyone else must pay the piper!
